Small Business Programs and Related Matters
Jordan Guydon’s small business development practice includes: counseling and representing small, minority, and women owned companies (including Black Enterprise 100 and Inc. 500 companies), as well as participants of other federal, state, and private procurement programs (including the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Program, the SBA Small Disadvantaged Business Program, the HUBZone Program, the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Program, the Department of Transportation Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, and the National Minority Supplier Development Council), regarding government contracts, set-asides, certification eligibility, application, and administration, teaming agreements, mentor-protégé agreements, subcontract agreements, and other strategic relationships. Mr. Jordan has been a frequent speaker on small business issues, including appearance as a guest on national telecast of the Tavis Smiley Show, and as a frequent guest on national radio programs. He represents national minority business trade organizations and civic organizations regarding policies and programs essential to the enhancement of minorities’ and women’s participation in federal procurement programs.
